Chilean Wine: As Diverse as the Country Itself
Chile is a hugely diverse country in terms of both geography and climate. The South American country is long and narrow and owes its geography and climate to the Andes (eastward) and the Pacific Ocean (westward). This diversity makes for excellent winemaking, especially as Chile's vineyards are located in a central belt of the country which, while varied, has a more moderate climate than other areas.
